Reminder - All OCDSB elementary schools will be closed to students in grades K-8 on Wednesday, February 5th and Thursday, February 6th. This includes students in grade 7 and 8 attending Bell, Earl of March, Longfields-Davidson Heights, Merivale and Sir Robert Borden High Schools.
Parents should have contingency plans in place for childcare on both February 5th and February 6th.
The Extended Day Program will be open for those students who are currently registered in EDP on February 5th and February 6th for before and after care only. Care will not be available during regular school day hours. Programs offered by third-party providers may also continue. Parents are asked to check with their provider for details.
All secondary schools will be open on both days and students in grades 9-12 are expected to attend school.
All community use of school permits will continue as usual in the event of an ETFO strike.
The OCDSB is not affected by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association (OECTA) strike.
